Marketing and Content Executive

PMGroup Worldwide Ltd are looking for a Marketing and Content Executive to join our team in the Covent Garden or Leatherhead area.

This role is responsible for marketing our virtual, live and hybrid events across PMGroup Worldwide Ltd. You will work cross-functionally with other events, conferences and editorial team members to bring our events to life by introducing strong marketing campaigns, creating written and visual content, and promoting this content using the most appropriate platform. You will also liaise with our sales team to ensure value is generated from your efforts.

Able to work on your own initiative, you will have a passion for communication and be able to formulate and drive marketing plans across print, digital and social media.

This vacancy would suit a recent graduate with a degree or similar qualification in marketing – or someone currently working in a junior marketing role looking to take on more responsibility.

As part of a small team you will need to learn quickly and will have the opportunity to develop your skills, grow the role and take on more responsibility.

 

Core responsibilities

You will be supporting a portfolio of prestigious awards schemes, conferences and digital events to grow entries, attendance and engagement.

  • Create, manage and analyse digital and print marketing campaigns
  • Drive interest, registrations, entries and attendance to our live and virtual events
  • Write engaging marketing content, including newsletters, blog posts, articles, advert copy, and social media posts
  • Design campaign materials utilising Adobe applications and collaborate with our design team to create new fresh ideas. Including html emails, banners, print adverts, press releases and general promotional materials
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including digital, editorial and sales teams plus steering committees, judges, speakers, external event planners and media companies
  • Attend conferences and events in the UK and abroad
  • Work with the database team to manage contacts and mailing lists
  • Produce high quality events material in print and digital formats (eg: online graphics, tickets, brochures, pop-ups, any further sponsored material)

Experience and skills

This role would suit either a junior candidate – where training will be given – or a more experienced marketing executive with knowledge of B2B marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a great eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, work well in a team and have the confidence to take responsibility when required.

  • Fantastic organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing
  • Experience of HTML and Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge of mass email systems (eg: Mailchimp, Campaign Manager, MooSend etc)
  • Excellent written English and ability to write content for articles, press releases, adverts etc
  • Experience of creating and managing marketing campaigns
  • Social media management and marketing
  • Knowledge of WordPress or similar content management systems
  • Examples of your writing and communication skills
  • A degree in marketing or equivalent experience

This is an in office role with a main base in our Maidstone office with travel to either our Covent Garden office in central London or our office near Leatherhead in Surrey (travel to both offices will be required each week). As occasional international travel will form part of your duties in order to attend events, a valid passport will be necessary. All conference travel costs will be covered by the company.

Junior Marketing Assistant

We have an opportunity for a dynamic, driven junior marketing assistant to join the events marketing team on a permanent, full time position.
You will be creating and executing an events marketing strategy across a wide variety of industries.
To be successful in this role you will need to be creative and dedicated to continually learning and evolving your skillset.
Your job focus will be to develop event marketing strategies that drive engagement, grow entries and attendance.

    Advertising Manager

    Our Maidstone office is looking to recruit an experienced Advertising Manager to work on a thriving B2B market leading monthly magazine.

    You will be responsible for managing client accounts both UK & abroad and will be expected to effectively retain and grow the existing customer base through reviewing and selling our portfolio of advertising and online products.

    The ideal candidate will be;

    • Proactive in contacting existing customers to establish and build relationships.
    • Should have experience in recording information in relevant databases and ensure CRM’s are kept up to date.
    • Has consistently achieved set sales targets in a Telephone based sales environment.
    • Able to thrive in a hardworking and dynamic team.
    • Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver excellent service.
